Eileh HaDevarim . . . These are the words . . .

Eileh HaDevarim

These are the words that God spoke to Moses, the words every Jew received at Sinai, the words that connect each of us, wherever or whenever we live, to one another.
Eileh HaDevarim.  These are the words.
Find the piece of Torah that touches you and dedicate it. Help your children discover their piece of Torah and to understand what it means to make their own $6.13 dedication.

The Eileh HaDevarim Committee is committed to 100% participation. Everyone may fill in a letter, regardless of their ability to pay. Need special arrangements? "TORAH FACTS"
Torah Fact: Every synagogue ark should contain at least three Torahs.
Since there are Sabbaths in the Jewish calendar when the Torah reading consists of selections from three different parts of the Torah, it is advisable for every synagogue to possess at least three Torahs. Should a congregation have less than that number, it would be necessary for congregants to suffer the inconvenience of waiting lengthy periods while a scroll is rolled from one place to another. With thanks to The Jewish Book of Why - The Torah, by Alfred J. Kolatch

About Agudas Achim Preschool:
The Agudas Achim Preschool offers half-day and full day programs for children from two through five years old. Although we are an integral part of the Agudas Achim Congregation, we welcome families from the broader community and from a variety of backgrounds. Our curriculum stresses:
  • Socialization of young children with their peers and caring adults
  • Jewish values, rituals and traditions
  • Exploration of the natural world
  • Exposure to modes of creative expression through art, drama, music and dance
  • Laying the foundations for a successful transition to the kindergarten classroom
